About Department

The Department of Political Science was established in the year 1973. Political Science is offered as one of the major combinations for undergraduate Programme in the college. Since then the department has made considerable progress in teaching, research and extension activities. Our College library is well equipped with many good books in Political Science. Department shapes research works on different subjects with numerous subfields, including comparative politics, political economy, international relations, political theory, public administration, public policy, and political methodology are given more importance. Department has always tried to focus on its thrust areas in academics and in research. The Faculty encourages its students to develop knowledge on Indian Constitution that beneficial to the society that uphold the traditions and customs of State.
